Magician Gene Urban Performs At McNight to Remember 2011

Ronald McDonald House is one of my favorite charities. It is for a great cause and their gala fundraiser is always creative and fun. This years event was an Alice in Wonderland theme… perfect for strolling and close up magic.

They brought me in for a new feature of the event, an after gala party. The event was held in the District wine bar at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. The event was entitled, Through the Looking Glass and included a Wonderland Chess game, Wonderland photo station and of course, Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts and magic.

What I loved about this event was the mix of people having a great time. I performed close-up magic and mind reading at the various tables and even got Alice to participate in a bit of magical fun. The guests rocked and one man nearly dropped his drink and kept saying, No Way, No Way. It made me think of Steve Jobs last words, Oh Wow, Oh Wow.

I am so honored to have the opportunity to spread the magic at amazing gala events like a McNight to Remember in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley AZ.

Gene Urban, incredible magic
